ONIZ first.

This blog has been created as a virtual platform for detailing and documenting our performance work.

Jon Gavaghan, and myself; Liz Wilks, decided to create a blog that would document the performance research and work we do. After noticing that when applying for projects and spaces, in an application form, (i.e for the Market Estate Project) it would ask for a website or blog. We both felt that the possiblity of having a group blog would be bennifical to us for now and in the future. So welcome to our blog; ONIZ!

Ok so where to start...

So who are we... We are both currently studying on the MA Advanced Theatre Practice course at Central School of speech and drama. Liz from North Wales and Jon from....well england.. We both met during the first auditons for our course, and surprisingly was one of the first people I met on our first day at Central.

We both developed a likeness for the type of theatre we would like to be involved in and to explore, and organically started to work together on mini projects in class.

The name ONIZ, basically and simply came from JON & LIZ, (together but just removing the first letters of our name) hence; ONIZ.

We are both openly collaborative, and welcome anyone to approach us, and basically 'get on board' if any of the work or ideas grab your attention. We are very easy going and both pursue a strong passion within performance and creating new work.

So fingers crossed...watch this space

Liz & Jon
